Collaboration, Innovation, & Collective Impact: Advancing Care for Rural & Military Children and Families

Join us for a morning of insights, discussion, and action on Friday, Sept. 11 from 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in Minneapolis, as we highlight new University of Minnesota research focused on the unique needs of military-connected youth and families in the Upper Midwest—part of a broader national collaborative effort.

This session will showcase key projects from the Military Child and Family Collaboration Study. Together with community partners, organizational leaders, and policy advocates, we will explore strategies to break down barriers to care, expand telehealth and provider training (such as Project ECHO®), and discuss actionable recommendations to support families navigating mental, emotional, developmental, and behavioral (MEDB) health needs locally and nationwide.

This event is hosted by the Masonic Institute for the Developing Brain, in partnership with the College of Education and Human Development, the Medical School and the Institute on Community Integration at the University of Minnesota.
