The Community Engagement & Education (CEEd) Core

Facilitating community engagement to advance policy and advocacy work, sparking novel understandings of the brain through connecting the community with cutting-edge clinical trials, and highlighting research, programs, and individual stories to inform our local and national communities of the benefits and services offered at the University of Minnesota.

Aims of the core

The aims of the core are to foster bidirectional communication to relay the community’s gaps and concerns regarding neurodevelopment to mold programs and services offered at MIDB, which will assist in fast-tracking interventions to the community, and developing the next generation of underrepresented minorities (URM) leaders in science, technology, engineering, agriculture and mathematics (STEAM).
